Wall crashes of Mumbai high-rise complex Llyods Estate in Wadala due to heavy rainfall

A portion of wall collapsed this early morning at 4:45 am of a high rise building Llyods Estate in Wadala due to heavy rainfall caving almost 20 cars parked under it. The incident happened early morning where all the residents where in deep sleep but luckily there were human injuries. Brihan Municipal Corporation (BMC) has evacuated the entire wing for further safety measures.
When asked one of the residents he informed that some people have vacated the premises some are still there in and we are waiting for the structural engineer to mark us safe. Defining the incident he said, there was a huge sound early morning at somewhere around 4: 00 am and boundary of our complex came crashing down it was just like a land slide.
The construction work of Dosti Realty has been reportedly weekend the boundary wall of the parking area.
Mr. Ajay Kumar Mumbai Director, Indian Metrological Department said, Mumbai has received almost 231.4 mm rainfall since Saturday and is expected to receive more.
This has been the situation every year, people die due to falling in the open manholes, and people suffer due to water logging in subways, tracks, roads, traffics all around the place.
It is only the start of monsoon and collapsing of high rises has been reported, with this level of construction the lives of people are endangered always.
