You can adopt Trees for 3 Years

 At VRSS, 2nd year of Tree plantation and adoption program was held on 1st July 2017. An overwhelming response from Mumbai was experienced. At this NGO one can plant and adopt Trees, stated by Mrs. Sheetal Karulkar an Entrepreneur and a leader in Infra and construction industry. This NGO is located at Virar on NH 8. It works for local tribal people Adivasi Tribe). They provide free education to their kids till Grade 10, medication facilities for free and employment. They have a workshop where these tribal people work and manufacture different and beautiful artefacts made from bamboo. They also make ayurvedic products such as oils, creams, incense sticks and medicines. They sell these products in the local market and make their livelihood.

Mrs. Sheetal Karulkar conveyed that this helps the local farmers in many ways as the plants and vegetables from nearby farms are used to make these ayurvedic products.

Mr. Umesh Gupta who is behind this magical idea of Tree plantation and adoption with efforts of Mrs. Sheetal Karulkar hopes that this gesture will help other people in the state and country to come forward for more plantations in their vicinity to make our country green. In addition this is of great help to the farmers for manufacture different and beautiful artefacts made from bamboo. They also make ayurvedic products such as oils, creams, incense sticks and medicines. They sell these products in the local market and make their livelihood.

We can buy a plant at 100 Rs. and adopt a plant for 3 Years at 600 Rs. Last year the adoption cost was 2100 Rs. but the people’s immense response and Mr. Pradeep Gupta’s vision made the price cut to 600 Rs. per plant.

Names of donors are displayed on the plants and the donors are updated the status of their plants growth every month. Anyone and everyone are welcome for this adoption of plants and tribal kids for education.

It’s a great initiative and noble cause done by this team of VRSS. They believe it’s their duty to give back to the country in this form.
