Oshiwara District Centre will be the next business hub in the line of BKC.
As a next central business area on the route of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), MMRDA is quickly developing the Oshiwara District Center (ODC).
ODC aims to offer high quality residential, commercial and retail spaces, situated strategically between Goregaon and Andheri-Lokhandwala, with the new technological facilities, spread over 160 acres. ODC is intended to develop as a mixed-use project, with a balance of healthy real estate assets, with 40% commercial and 60% residential development. It will be one of the first places to witness international walk-to-work culture.
Due to its central location, connectivity, price appreciation and affordability, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has selected ODC as the next cluster development to become the most invested destination in Mumbai. ODC is near to the Goregaon Railway Station, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and BKC. It can become a location for both residential and business hubs.
The region is well-connected to roads such as Link Road, SV Road and Western Express Highway. ODC is also within easy reach of the next Metro line (Dahisar-Charkop-Bandra-Mankhurd).
“Oshiwara is renowned as a TV media district which operates several production houses. It has created an ecosystem, making the area more demanding. It is manifestation to demand both office space and residential realty, which is why several well-known developers are constructing in this region, offering mainly a privileged community. It is a vibrant place for young people, with the inclusion of shopping malls, food and entertainment centres. The Versova Metro improved the connectivity and work is underway on the 18 km Metro 2A corridor”, said ANAROCK Property Consultants, Ashutosh Limaye, Director and Head-strategic advisory and valuation.
