MMRDA receives approval to construct 3 new metro lines in Mumbai.

In the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the Maharashtra cabinet sent out the green signal to three new Metro lines which would be finished by 2026. A declaration from the CMO (chief minister’s office) stated that the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) would construct the three projects.
The Gaimukh-Shivaji Chowk 9.2 km long Mira Road route is to be constructed with four elevated stations and is anticipated to cost around Rs 4.476 crores which are expected to be finished by March 2022, it said.
The 20.7 km high line from Kalyan to Taloja will be having 17 stations. It is scheduled to be completed until March 2024 and will cost Rs 5.865 crores.
The Wadala-CST line will cover 12.7 km stretched, out of which 8.7 km will be underground and remaining will be elevated. Which means out of the 10 stations, eight will be underground and the project is expected to cost Rs 8.739 crores by the end of March 2026?
